My main issue with the time turners is that the rules changed for The Cursed Child. In Prisoner, they use the time turner to ensure events played out as they did the first time. They couldn't change the past. In the Cursed story, they go about changing everything.

The trace weird because they could tell exactly when and exactly where and exactly what. But they can't tell who? They can't even tell if it was a widget wizard or something else. Reparo works exactly like Acio, you can just make it more specific Oculus reparo 'repair glasses' refining the level of magic. Acio can basically be used to bring things to you within sight. But you can enhance the spell with some additional mental components. Accio firebolt your firebolt comes flying from where you had it because you were looking specifically for that particular object it doesn't have to be within sight.

I think it’s more because Bellatrix comes from “wizard nobility”, like how rich parents will threaten to stop donating to the policeman’s ball or such or convince a Judge that goes to the same country/yacht club give their child community service or house arrest instead of a DUI and Manslaughter for accidentally running over a toddler running down the street. Barty Crouch Sr. was a Judge, he likely pulled strings to lessen his son’s sentence, similar to how IRL law enforcement or courthouse officials will ask a “fellow officer” for a “favor/courtesy” for their child, wife, husband, sister, brother, cousin, parent(s), etc. in exchange for a lesser sentence/another “favor” to be named at a “later date”. After all, Merope was a witch/wizard and while she was poor, who is to say that she didn't have some of the ingredients for the Amortentia potion that she is credited for using growing naturally around her home? In the books, we were never really given much information about what kinds of weeds and foliage were actually around the Gaunt shack out to a 15 minute walking distance. So, she very well could have made the potion that she did and not realize just how powerful and valuable to the wizarding world it would have been. So... all in all. Here is what I would say probably happened, which puts the blame on both parties involved: Tom Riddle Sr. certainly was the kind of narcissistic jerk that you claim he was in this theory. As a high classed muggle born into wealth and status, he did find his way to Merope Gaunt, a poor woman of the wizarding world, to get his curious ego stroked. As they begin talking for a few weeks while Tom is also seeing Cecilia romantically, Tom and Merope start up their illicit affair behind the village's backs, as well as Marvelo's and Morfin's backs as well. Merope falls in love with Tom. Tom gets bored and attempts to disassociate Merope from his life. She begs and pleads with him to stay with her instead of going back to his romantic interest of Cecilia. Tom is adamant about wanting Cecilia over Merope. Merope creates an Amortentia potion and uses it on Tom. It works for a while, especially to the effect that Tom and Merope would be discovered in Tom's bed by Cecilia ultimately causing the two to have a falling out. Tom and Merope would marry. Merope becomes pregnant with Voldemort. The Amortentia potion ends up wearing off on Tom and he abandons Merope and their baby having accused Merope of drugging and taking advantage of him. So... How does that sound?

way too many holes in this theory, lets break it down How did Hagrid know where the potters lived? - Severus told Albus "hide them.... yes but he thinks its her boy. Hid them. Hide them all." Whose to say Albus didnt send Snape first to scout ahead, then Hagrid minutes later to get Harry? "why would the Games Keeper and Mad Eye be meeting for a drink" - because Hagrid was looking after the dragons and other trials. 'Mad Eye' needed to know as much as he could to then help Potter win. Things like telling Neville about Gillie Weed, gesturing left to tell Harry which way to had in the maze.

Probably looking into someone's mind is somewhat like casting a spell. It requires some level of effort. Just because he can read people's minds doesn't mean hes doing it all the time to everyone. If he looked he probably would've known she was lying but he just didn't look because he had no reason to suspect her. He just saw himself murder Harry with a killing curse which he had done to countless others and asking her was verification of what his own eyes had already just seen.

I would say the success of the twins ruins this entire argument. As in the muggle world, some people just can't manage money. When I first read the chapter of Harry and Dumbledore in the train station. I didn't see it as Harry talking Dumbledore, but death itself in the form of Dumbledore. As the 3rd brother welcomed Death like an old friend.

1) the simplicity of the outer social structure, which barely moved through the whole series, and the unrealistic depiction of 25% of the people bad to the bone malfoy copies in different skins, rest being good, culminating to the endless malfoy drama repetition in detail. it just was unrealistic to the point of naivety where 75% of the people are capable of no bad thought and the 25% are just mean looking total scumbags, and at the end actually (and only them) willing to join Voldemort when forced to answer. 2) the lack of world creation outside the school and few magical locations. even the hogwarts train just went from London to Hogmeade station straight. what about every student who lives somewhere else in britain? the whole seventh book they never considered once encountering any type of magical infrastructure of any sort. just teleporting from other undesigned generic real life countryside location to another in a world that is supposed to be magical, just to visit few wizarding locations we already knew from the previous books made the book feel very rushed, just to express the purely poetric level beautiful backstory to the series and Harry's death at the end. 3) the lack of any description at any point of the school years of how the spell casting and magical property of the wizard feels to wield and use, skipping the whole explanation part with wand movement and words that need to be uttered. this left me with just the external expression of the spellcasting event, without ever telling me what i actually do mentally and feel in my body when i cast spells and why does it have such an effect, making the actual being a wizard experience very 2-dimensional and unretalable. 4) avada kedavra being unforgivable spell. they literally had mental torture prisons and killed each other in combat anyways and had enslaved all the other magical races to themselves, leaving actually only the actual spell cast with only the killing intention illegal. the inconsistency in this was bothering. but take this from 33 year old person who grew with the book and has read the series so many times and considers it still probably the best story ever written. it sure wasn't literally flawless book series, but then again i'm 33 years old and it was written for much younger audience. JK Rowling is incredible writer.

You can do anything. But in Harry Potter series, good guys were focused on eating sweets, look at dinner in Hogwarts, absolutly disgusting. They were even using chocolate as medicine. When they not eating sweets, then watching quidditch crap. Evil guys were focused to get power or conquer the school full of kids eating sweets. I think that Voldemort wanted to eat their chocolate supplies. In Grindewald series we had something more, but it's suspended.

Agreed with almost all, but with Madame Pomfrey, even though she definitely possess all the Hufflepuff traits, she also strikes me as having a strong-willed nature, even outspoken at times. I picture her as being rigidly moral and courageous more than whats shown in the books, so in my head cannon I'd have her in Gryffindor.
